Client Testimonials
“I liked that she came to my house and provided one on one training in my dog’s own environment. I have an 18 month old Golden Retriever and jumping was my main issue. I mainly just wanted to stop the out of control jumping but I got so much more. Kristi went over nutrition, leash manners, helped control the jumping and also provided instruction in so many areas. I learned a lot! Thanks Kristie, my dog is definitely much better behaved.”
“New Beginnings Dog Training is wonderful! I have a crazy Beagle who every other trainer said are hard to train. 3 sessions with Kristi and my dog is a different dog, behaved and not driving me crazy. Kristi taught me and my dog in such a patient easy to understand way. Highly, highly recommended.”
“We signed our 6-month-old lab, Keigan for 3 one on one lessons. We were satisfied with the direction we were given to practice with our puppy. We were amazed at how well he responded to the repetitive commands we were taught. Kristi took the time to make sure we understood the direction needed to enforce the lessons taught to make him a better dog. She was available by phone as we needed her. We highly recommend her services and we already scheduled with her a week of training to begin off-leash.”
“It is with great pleasure that we write a note recommending New Beginnings Dog Training! We are absolutely delighted with the experience. We had Raffie, our 7 month old Standard Poodle, stay with Kristi at her home. She did a wonderful job with him. Don’t hesitate to call her if you want your dog trained properly while showing caring and kindness and getting wonderful results. She’s terrific and we highly endorse her work. Raffie had all kinds of experiences while he was living with her to board and train over a two-week time period; she’s the best.”
Trainer notes:
Raffie came to me for a Board and Train and is an enthusiastic young Standard Poodle. He presented problems for his owners because of his high energy and difficulty walking him. He was spending a considerable amount of time in his crate because he was just so rambunctious and he grabs things and runs or swallows them.
The goal for Raffie was to get him out of the crate and teaching him how to be calm on command and exist with his owners in the home. Walking nicely was the first order of business. Through the use of a prong collar Raffie learned the pressure of the collar meant he was to slow his pace. In no time Raffie was walking nicely on his leash with little effort. His owners also wanted him remote collar trained so a leash did not have to be on him constantly. With low-level e-collar training I could communicate to Raffie the same commands he already understood when using the leash. The end result was a great success and I expect Raffie to continue his growth and development.
“Kristie did an exceptional job training our dog, Bryson! Her dedication and hard work proved to be successful in just one short week. It was hard to send Bryson away for training, but her professional approach and natural love for animals made the decision so much easier.
Located in New Jersey, it was well worth the travel to find someone who could turn a rambunctious puppy into a well-mannered dog She kept us abreast of his successes during his stay and zoned in on areas that needed more work. Bryson returned home as the fun, loving and now obedient dog we treasure. I’m finally able to eat at the table without Bryson barking at me for food. We would like to thank you for your dedication and all your hard work training Bryson. Marvin!”
Trainer notes:
Bryson a 5 month old Boston Terrier from Easton, PA. came to me for a 1 week Puppy Board & Train. I started him immediately on basic behavior training that includes Place, Sit, Down, Come Wait, Crate Manners and Heel. He excelled at his enthusiasm to learn all while feeling like these were fun playful activities. His owner gave him the gift of early training!
“I wouldn’t go anywhere else. We went from a home that was controlled by our husky to getting our life back. Our dog can now roam in the yard freely, come on command, heel, stay, and all the other manners anyone would want.
People told us it was too late to train as our dog is 3 years old. Not true! New Beginnings did it with ease in the privacy of our own home! Thank you Kristy!”
Trainer notes:
This family is from Bethlehem, PA and I was there to help them with their husky who had repeatedly jumped the fence and ran off. We worked on teaching her to walk in a controlled heel, place work and specifically remote training. Now with a new fence and better come when called they can relax in their backyard with the smart girl.
“Thank you Kristi at New Beginnings Dog Training for your recent in- home training sessions. We are so grateful for your help with Bailey. I know he’s still young but he had gotten so out of control. We are delighted that we can now eat in peace and he’s not jumping on everyone who comes over. He goes into his crate now with no problem. We do our homework with him and he is learning the new rules! Everything is so much calmer.”
“Kristi, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your work with Ittsey. We really felt like we are her last resort and struggled to give her a good home in spite of her difficult past.
She was so reactive to anyone coming into our house, even our own adult children. The barking was so excessive and would last so long we had to remove her entirely from any gatherings. Upon your advise we taught her to go to her “Place” when anyone arrives and using a low level remote she has learned to calm herself and her “Place” is her safe spot. The difference is remarkable and I think she is a much happier dog. We can now have people in our house! Thank you again!”
